Political Thought, 25 May 2016

In regards to the State Dept.'s IG Report on the Clinton E-Mail controversy: if this doesn't sink the Clinton campaign, what the hell would? I mean, seriously, folks, only someone who believes that they are above the law would try to divert attention from their own legal shortcomings by claiming that everyone else did it....Ms. Clinton, Colin Powell did not have a private email server. Neither did he or his subordinates rewrite classified emails to make them non-classified as Clinton and her acolytes did, nor did they violate classification rules in doing so....

....but I guess since its' Ms. Clinton we're talking about, its okay, isn't it, libtards?

Group Of Pastors Ask Smithsonian To Remove Bust Of Planned Parenthood Founder

...well, given that Margaret Sanger also espoused views that modern society would consider racist, how that woman is even in the Smithsonian should be a question for our elected officials...
( – A group of black pastors sent a letter to the director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Portrait Gallery asking that the bust of Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger be removed from the museum’s “Struggle for Justice” exhibit, citing her support for eugenics and the targeting of minorities by the nation’s largest abortion provider.
"Perhaps the Gallery is unaware that Ms. Sanger supported black eugenics, a racist attitude toward black and other minority babies, an elitist attitude toward those she regarded as ‘the feeble minded;’ speaking at a rally of Ku Klux Klan women; and communications with Hitler sympathizers," the letter from Ministers Taking a Stand states.
“Also the notorious ‘Negro Project,’ which sought to limit, if not eliminate black births, was her brainchild,” the letter states. “Despite these well- documented facts of history, her bust sits proudly in your gallery as a hero of justice. The obvious incongruity is staggering!” the letter states.
Think about that for a moment, folks....alongside the heroes of the civil rights movement is a person whose organization, America's Butcher Shops (o/k/a Planned Parenthood) has discussed the wholesale harvesting and sale of fetal body parts and who had a well-known history of racist comments towards blacks in general, one has to wonder just what the Smithsonian was thinking giving her space there....

PA Senator Calls On Google To Apologize For Doodle Honoring Cop-Killing Supporter

....hey, Google: whatever happened to "Do no evil?"
Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), in a letter sent to Google parent company Alphabet Inc. CEO Larry Page, today called on Google to exercise more discretion and apologize for their homepage tribute to Yuri Kochiyama - a radical activist who publicly supported convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal and voiced support for Osama bin Laden and other terrorists. (PA Sen. Pat Toomey, R-PA) a perfect world, the Philly cops would've - and frankly, should've - shot Abu-Jamal the night he shot and killed PPD Officer Daniel that man - Mumia Abu-Jamal, that is - has remained an oxygen-thief for over 3 decades is a mystery to the average person...

National Security Advisor: U.S. National Security Agencies "Too White"

.....and this is important how, Ms. Rice?
White House National Security Adviser Susan E. Rice said Wednesday there are too many white people in key government posts, creating the danger of “groupthink” that could put U.S. security at risk.
Speaking at Florida International University’s commencement, Ms. Rice said a diversified government workforce is more likely to yield “better outcomes” than a predominantly white one.
Referring to criticism that the U.S. national security workforce is “white, male, and Yale,” Ms. Rice told the graduates, “In the halls of power, in the faces of our national security leaders, America is still not fully reflected.” (Fox Nation via. Washington Times)
Suggestion to Ms. Rice: rather than worry about the skin color of the applicants, worry about (a) whether they can do the freakin' job they're hired to do and (b) whether they're loyal to the United States...but what do I know? I'm just a conservative... *sarcastic eyeroll*

Oh, Environmentalists? let me get this straight: y'all think fracking is "evil"...yet y'all conveniently ignore what it takes to get the lithium needed for the batteries used to store the electricity it takes to run electric cars with?

Remind me again which one's more evil?

Well, This Makes Sense....

....wait, what? Talk about someone talking out of both sides of their cotton-pickin', two-timing mouth..

Appropriate This!

Quoting: The Social Justice Warriors -- the first warriors to faint at the sight of a penknife -- have a new weapon to show off their unearned moral superiority: CULTURAL APPROPRIATION, where mainstream culture steals from minorities without being "authentic." Surprisingly Bill Whittle agrees with this, and has a list of grievances all his own.

I never thought I'd see Bill Whittle take a page from Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" but he's got a point about the above; cultures of all kinds have appropriated things from other cultures throughout time the SJW's (Social Justice Wankers) even realize that or are they so caught up in their damn hypocrisy that it escapes their feeble minds?

Vox Rebuttal: Gun Control Propaganda Debunked

Quoting: A thorough debunking of the propaganda presented by Vox in their video on gun control and "mass shootings" in the U.S.

....once again, Steven Crowder knocks it out of the park.

Melissa Click: One Reason Why University Tenure Should Be Abolished

Interesting and thought-provoking article over at The Federalist on the recent firing of former Mizzou professor Melissa Click and why it is a reason we should end tenure as a general rule at universities across America. For me there are two principles why university tenure should end:
  • Tenure helps foster a sense of moral hazard in professors - especially the average leftist professor - in that they do whatever they want, knowing that the rules make it all-but-impossible to fire them (as the article points out, the last time anyone can remember off-hand a professor getting the axe was when Spellman College back in the early 60's fired leftist ideologue Howard Zinn)
  • Tenure helps foster an elitist structure that allows those same professors to look down their noses at everyone else without having to justify the reasons for their jobs' to exist
There's also a hypocritical double standard at work here; by virtue of their working for the state (if, as Ms. Click, they work at a state university) they're all-but-immue to lawsuits, whereas their private-sector counterparts are not.

The Hypocrisy Of Leonardo Dicaprio

....when he drops his private jets and all the technology he uses, then he can lecture us...until then, someone should tell him to go pound sand....

Race-Bating MSDNC Host Boycotts Her Own Show

Oh, the schadenfreude, it burns with her, doesn't it?
MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry made good on her vow to boycott her own show on Saturday, refusing to anchor her weekend program as she wages an extraordinary public war with the executives whom she accuses of having “taken” her show from her.
“I will not be used as a tool for their purposes. I am not a token, mammy, or little brown bobble head. I am not owned by [NBC News chairman Andrew] Lack, [MSNBC president Phil] Griffin, or MSNBC. “ (Fusion)
That last quote is rich coming from Ms. Harris-Perry for that sums up exactly what she is, an affirmative-action hire whose 15 minutes of usefulness ended a long time ago...

....remember, folks: this woman is still a professor at Wake Forest University; God only knows what she says to the delicate snowflakes she teaches...that is, if she teaches at all.
